5 steps to making more money

Let’s dream…

It’s end of 2020.  Christmas time, Holiday parties, packed full schedule and you are reflecting on how your year went for you.  How do you feel?  Are you excited and proud?  Or are you wishing the year was over already?

I believe we need to take control of our careers by being super intensional and laser focused so at year end we can look back and see progress and feel empowered.  In order to create this type of year we need to map out a plan of action.

Step 1 Tracking Sheets:  If you do not track your numbers you will not have a gage of whether you are doing good or not.  It’s like if your goal was to loose weight but your not counting your calories and weighing yourself and just saying to yourself “I think I’m doing good.”….Until you step on the scale and you gained 10 LBS! #notcool

Track your goals weekly at the salon or spa so you can see where you are at and where you are going. Become a six figure stylist by doing your tracking sheets.

Write out your goals and track every week your actual numbers so you can measure your success.

Step 2: Client Goals:  Every client wants to have the ultimate client experience. I know I would.  With each guest we need to create space for gratitude, vision for the next cool thing to try for their image, and educating on self-care.  I will repeat myself here, but if you do not suggest or ask most of the time they will not either.  Set your business and clients up for success.  It’s a win-win situation

Create hair or skin goals for your clients to get them excited for what is to come for their next service. Sell results!

Step 3. Referrals:  This is a topic that most are aware of but scared to do anything with it 😱.  I will say, you just need to ask and let your ego go.  Create a referral program or implement some incentive for new clients along with reasons why your awesome clients should refer their friends.

Step 4.  Networking:  You got to put yourself out there.  Shake hands, meet new people in your community, and tell the world what you do and who you do it for.  Build relationships! Set the fear aside and keep you focus on your goals and vision for your business and life.

Networking is a great way to build your business and out yourself out into your community and tell everyone what you do.

Step 5.  Rebooking:  What if I told you that you could look into your future and and see clients on your schedule booked for several services?  You would be super pumped!  This can be your reality but it is not going to work unless you do.  Make it a MUST to rebook your client because that is how you will create a smart book, a predictable income, and most of all you are helping your client with their busy schedules while teaching your client how you run your business.

Rebooking your clients will help you create a predictable income calendar and help your clients stay on track for their goals that you spoke about in addition to getting them in at a time that is convenient for the both of you. WIN-WIN all around!

I hope that you at least take one of these actionable items and implement them into your business today.  If you feel like you want more help in one of these please email l me because I’d love to hear where you are in your career and how I can help you get unstuck.
